Randy Dunn

Randy Dunn serves as director, Underwriting, Mid-Atlantic Region, for HM Insurance Group (HM). In this role, he leads the development, execution and monitoring of Stop Loss pricing and related strategies for HM’s Mid-Atlantic Region, which includes western, central and northeast Pennsylvania; West Virginia; and Delaware, as well as the Independence Blue Cross relationship.

With more than 20 years of Stop Loss underwriting experience and 15 years in a leadership role, Randy’s areas of expertise include risk assessment and mitigation and Stop Loss underwriting, as well as underwriting for life insurance, long-term disability and short-term disability. Randy joined HM in 1994 as an underwriting analyst and has served in his current director role for 15 years.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Business Information Systems from Robert Morris University. Randy also holds HIA and MHP designations from the Health Insurance Association of America.
